La Vrille

selected wine variant rear image

The scent of mountain herbs characterizes and distinguishes Cornalin, a wine from Valle d'Aosta made from the homonymous native grape variety, once almost abandoned and then fortunately rediscovered and rightly revalued. La Vrille's Cornalin Valle d'Aosta doc comes from south-facing vineyards in the commune of Verrayes, at an altitude of 650 meters (650 feet), vinification takes place in steel, aging in steel for eleven months and six months in bottle. It has a dark ruby color and is fresh and inviting on the palate.
