Verdeca is characterized by conical clusters with medium to large oval berries, is productive and resists most diseases very well. The growing areas are mainly in the provinces of Bari and Taranto. During the 20th century this grape was used mainly for vermouth production, while very little was used to make wine.
Faint straw yellow with greenish highlights. Rosehip, peach, herbs. Fresh, savory.
