Bianco d'Alessano is a typical variety of Apulia, first mentioned in documents dating back to 1870. It probably originated in the Itria Valley and currently grows mainly in the province of Bari, Brindisi, Taranto and the Murgia plateaus. It is characterized by a conical cluster with round berries, is very productive and resists heat and arid climate very well, which is why it is being looked at with increasing interest for cultivation in hot and arid areas such as California and Australia.
Straw yellow with greenish highlights. Flowers, peach, white fruit, mineral notes. Fresh, structured, balanced, persistent.
