Campo delle Pieve is also the name of the vineyard where the Vernaccia San Gimignano grapes from which this wine is made come from. The vineyards stand at altitudes between 350 and 390 meters, on limestone soils with sand and clay, and are cultivated organically. During vinification, the must undergoes a brief pellicular maceration and then ferments spontaneously in steel and ages in cement tanks in contact with the fine lees with frequent bâtonnage.
