Puer Apuliae, "Son of Apulia," is the nickname that was given to Frederick II of Swabia. This wine that combines tradition with modernity was so named because it is made from a little-known clone of Nero di Troia. The grapes are grown in the Tafuri vineyard, located in the heart of the Murge characterized by the fortress of Castel del Monte, built ne l 13th century by Frederick II of Swabia.
Bright garnet red. Red fruits, flowers, citrus, spices, balsamic notes. Structured, tannic, fresh, lingering, citrusy.
