Valtellina Superiore Riserva Docg Sassella from Aldo Rainoldi, is' a robust and austere red wine and is made only in the best vintages, after a rigorous selection of grapes. The vineyards stand in Valtellina, on terraces located between 270 and 600 meters above sea level, consisting of vines over 30 years old. Aldo Rainoldi's Valtellina Superiore Riserva Docg Sassella ages in oak barrels for nearly two years, then stabilizes for another 12 months in the bottle.
