Fruttato Ca' Rizzieri is the result of viticulture considered heroic; the vineyards stand on steeply sloping terraced slopes that make cultivation very difficult. The wine takes its name from the fruit orchard that rises 500 meters above sea level, where the late-harvested grapes are left to dry for 90 days on trellises, thanks in part to the dry, breezy climate.
Bright garnet red. Leather, spice, notes of fruit in spirit, dried flowers, cinchona, tobacco. Rich, persistent, tannic.

Vendemmia tardiva
