Valtellina Superiore Docg Inferno

Valtellina Superiore Docg Inferno 2017

Aldo Rainoldi

Valtellina Superiore Inferno DOCG from the Aldo Rainoldi winery is made from the pure grapes of one of the noblest red grape varieties in the entire Italian territory, Nebbiolo. Because of the conformation and location of the land on which the vineyards stand, machinery and mechanical work are almost unusable. The carefully harvested grapes ferment slowly, macerating in temperature-controlled steel tanks, with periodic pumping over and punching down. Following aging, the result is a structured and assertive red wine.
