The "Trattmann" from the Girlan winery, is a Pinot Noir Reserve from Alto Adige, which is made from pure Pinot Noir grapes, a red grape variety that in the Trentino Alto Adige area, manages to express itself at very high levels. The grapes are grown at about 400 meters above sea level, once harvested they ferment for about 20-24 days in steel followed by an aging period of 12 months in barrique and 8 months in large barrels. The result is a unique red wine: delicate and persistent at the same time.
