Petite Arvine Valle d'Aosta Doc 2021
Feudo di San MaurizioSold out
The Petite Arvine vine, also called the "glacier vine" for its characteristic of surviving the cold climate, probably comes from Switzerland, but its origin is disputed with the Aosta Valley given its centuries-old presence in the region. It grows in limited areas, at altitudes between 600 and 900 meters, in sunny areas sheltered from the wind on poor, low-arid soils of moraine origin. The significant temperature ranges given by the high altitudes favor the concentration of aromas in the small, compact berries.
Faint straw yellow with greenish highlights. Green lemon, grapefruit, rhubarb. Savory and assertive.
