Sagrantino di Montefalco "Colle alle Macchie" takes its name from the narrow part of the native vine where it grows. It is a south-facing cru, located about 420 meters above sea level on fairly deep clay soils where the grapes stay to ripen for a very long time.

Intense ruby red with garnet highlights. Red fruits, flowers, tobacco, humus, leather, underbrush. Structured, enveloping, slightly tannic, persistent.
