Brecciaro takes its name from the soil where it is grown and comes from Ciliegiolo di Narni IGT grapes from two vineyards planted in San Gemini, Colle Ozio locality, and the other in Narni, Muriano locality. The soils are clay and limestone and are located at an altitude of 290 meters.
