Siccagno in Sicilian dialect means concentrated grape. The wine is made from only Nero d'Avola in the municipality of Vittoria. The vineyards, more than 40 years old, are cultivated according to organic farming without the use of chemicals. Vinification follows natural processes, the grapes macerate on the skins for 25 days in steel tanks where spontaneous fermentation also takes place. After aging for 22 months in oak barrels, the wine is neither filtered nor clarified.
