'Guarnaccio' Perricone Sicilia Doc

'Guarnaccio' Perricone Sicilia Doc 2018

Tasca d'Almerita

The Perricone grape variety is mainly found near the cities of Trapani and Marsala, but before the arrival of phylloxera it was widespread throughout Sicily. After being almost completely devastated, Perricone remained little exploited, growers preferring more resistant and productive grapes. It is characterized by a very long, pyramid-shaped cluster with medium to large round berries with a dark blue color.
