'Piano Chiuso' Primitivo di Manduria Riserva Doc 2017
Masca del Tacco24.50 €
The Piano Chiuso takes its name from the land where the vineyards stand, which is "enclosed" by dry stone walls. This is a technique already used by Cistercian monks to isolate small parts of the land where they noticed changes in composition. This wine is made from only Primitivo grapes grown in very small vineyards between dry stone walls.
Intense ruby red with garnet highlights. Red fruits, flowers, spices, hints of graphite, cocoa powder, balsamic notes. Intense, fresh, savory, tannic, persistent.
