The Bramaterra DOC is located in northern Piedmont in an area straddling the Alpine belt and the Po Valley. The area consists of hills with porphyry soils covered by a layer of fertile soil. Nearby Monte Rosa protects the vineyards from cold winds from the mountains, creating an ideal microclimate.
