'Bricco della Bigotta' Barbera d'Asti Docg 2017
BraidaSold out
Bricco della Bigotta comes from the winery's best vines located in Rocchetta Tanaro. The name of this Barbera is a tribute to a very pious and devoted old lady who lived near the vineyards. This wine was created after a Barbera-loving cardinal asked the owner to change the name of "Bricco dell'Uccellone," the winery's other wine, because it created embarrassment in the Vatican, but instead of changing the name, a new wine was created.
Ruby red. Red fruits and jam, wet earth, roasting, tobacco, cocoa. Balanced, full, enveloping, fresh, savory.
