Val Dei Preti is a wine with an excellent ability to age and is an excellent representative of the terroir where it is produced. The Nebbiolo grapes come from vineyards that rise 280 meters above sea level on soils rich in sand and silt facing south.

Ròche d'Ampsèj is made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in Canale in the Pecetto locality from an area called Rocche, hence the name of the wine, which in Italian means "Rocche di un Pecetto" . The vineyard stands on a bricco that wedges into the Rocche area, which has been cultivated with vines for centuries. The soils consist mainly of yellow sands and silt, a special soil that in addition to vines allows the growth of Scots pine.
