Ribona is the most common name for the Maceratino Bianco vine, an ancient variety planted only in the Marche region, mainly in the province of Macerata and near Loreto in the province of Ancona. It is a poorly adaptable variety and needs poor, well-exposed and ventilated soils for the best yield. It has a medium to large conical cluster with round berries.
