Bright ruby red with garnet highlights. Red fruits, spices( pepper, cloves), slightly balsamic and vanilla notes.  Intense tannin, warm and savory, pepper notes, fruity.

By far the most scenic cru in the appellation, and one that comes to encompass the area known as Colareo. It enjoys an excellent reputation, and is optimally exposed, particularly the southern side that overlooks the village of Soldano.
