Verduzzo Friulano has been closely associated with the region for centuries, growing almost exclusively in Friuli and mainly in the province of Udine. It is not a very vigorous variety and is resistant to botrytis but susceptible to downy mildew. It needs marly-rocky soils with little clay and excellent exposure to grow.
Golden yellow. Candied fruit, honey, caramel, herbs and balsamic. Dry, fresh, fruity notes.
