The name of the Tezzelenghe grape variety comes from "tàce-lenghe," which in Friulian dialect means "cuts the tongue" because of its high acidity and strong presence of tannins. It is considered one of the main indigenous grape varieties of Friuli. Tezzelenghe is characterized by a medium-sized cluster with a truncated cone shape with medium-sized, loosely packed clusters.
Ruby red with garnet highlights. China, rhubarb, red fruit under spirits, spices, flowers, hints of graphite. Fresh, herbaceous notes, tannic.

Fermentation in stainless steel with temperature control (26-28°C) and maceration for 15-20 days with several repassings. Aging in oak barrels for 24 months and 6 months in bottle.
