Stéfen is a wine that has received numerous international awards and recognition. Stèfen is the ancient surname of the De Stefani family, as recorded in old documents from 1624. The Marzemino grapes for this wine come from the "Stèfen 1624" vineyard and are vinified using the traditional technique of Marzemino di Refrontolo. The grapes are allowed to dry naturally and the wine is fermented until the sugars are completely depleted, becoming dry with high alcohol content and excellent longevity.
