The name Salvarenza derives from local legend; it is said that a young girl named Renza, threatened by brigands, was rescued by a noble knight at the site where the vineyards currently stand. The vineyards are more than 100 years old and some of them are free-standing; they are planted on limestone soils facing southeast at 150 meters above sea level.
Intense straw yellow. Spices, roasted notes, coffee, flowers, herbs, mint, candied citrus, minerals. Savory, fresh, assertive.
