Pian di Conte is produced only in particularly exceptional vintages. Sangiovese grapes come from the oldest vineyards that stand on sandy loam soils facing southeast at an altitude of 400 meters.
Bright ruby red with garnet highlights. Red fruits, flowers, graphite, underbrush, licorice, tobacco, dark chocolate, spices. Fresh, tannic, mineral notes.
