Brunello di Montalcino is made from Sangiovese grapes grown using certified organic methods. The grapes come from two separate vineyards, Le Prata, stands at 507 meters above sea level with a southwest exposure and La Torre with a southeast exposure at 420 meters above sea level. The grapes from the two vineyards are combined for vinification, and the wine is not filtered before bottling.
