La Piana winery's "Cristino" Aleatico Passito Toscana Igt is made from grapes naturally dried on mats for about 20 days, matured for months in stainless steel, followed by four months in the bottle. The winery grows its grapes with a totally organic approach, and is located in the center of the island of Capraia, within the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. The "Cristino" is a passito with intense aromas, sweet, fragrant and persistent.
Dark purple red. Fruit, black fruit candy, resin, flowers, wax, rubber, nutty notes, cocoa. Sweet, fresh, slightly savory, lingering, balsamic notes.

Drying on racks for about 20 days. Fermentation in steel at controlled temperature (25°C) with maceration for 10 days. Aged for 6 months in steel, then 4 months in bottle.
