Campitello is the name of the estate's oldest vineyard, it stands at 420 meters above sea level and is entirely surrounded by woods, isolated of the other vineyards. Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorina grapes are grown and vinified as a cru, during the production process no yeast is added and fermentations take place spontaneously, before bottling the wine does not undergo any kind of clarification or filtration.

Bright ruby red. Red fruits, flowers, smoked meat, graphite, roasted coffee, underbrush. Tannic, acidic, persistent, fruity and floral notes.

Spontaneous fermentation in vitrified cement tanks, without temperature control. Maceration on the skins for 30-35 days with daily manual pumping over and punching down. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Aging in large French and Slavonian oak barrels for at least 26 months followed by 3 months in cement for decanting and 6 months in bottle. No clarification or filtration.
