This wine is made from Sangiovese, Colorino and Merlot grapes grown in the Piagge and Casina vineyards. They rise in Castellina di Chianti on clay and limestone soils and are harvested by hand to select only the best grapes, then vinified in steel, small tanks, and then aged in large barrels and French oak tonneaux before bottling.
