I Sodi di San Niccolò is the winery's most important wine; the name refers to the church of San Niccolò that stands beside the vineyards, and "sodi" stands for the particularly hard and compact limestone soils. Sangiovese grapes combined with a small percentage of Malvasia Nera grown at an altitude of 430 meters without the use of pesticides are used.
Deep ruby red. Red fruits, rhubarb, ink, spices, herbs, licorice notes, medicinal herbs, tobacco notes. Warm, intense, tannic.
