Faro Doc 2015

Palari

Faro wine has been produced in Sicily since ancient times, risked extinction due to phylloxera and subsequent decline, and only in the late 1980s did it return to production. The vineyards stand on terraces made with stone walls on the steeply sloping hills near the village of Santo di Stefano Briga, which overlooks the Strait of Messina. The proximity to the sea allows for a special microclimate, warm during the day and cool and breezy at night.
