Istentu in Sardinian dialect means "waiting" or "slowness," and refers to the time this wine needs to mature and also to its longevity. The grapes come from vines more than 70 years old located in the hills of Atzara at an altitude of almost 550 meters, on the western slope of the Gennargentu range.
