Vigna Colonnello is made from grapes grown in the vineyard of the same name. It stands on a very small plot of land composed mainly of clay that is located in the area of Monforte d'Alba on the border with the commune of Barolo. Prior to vinification, the grapes are partially destemmed and aging is done both in oak barrels and in steel prior to bottling where the wine refines further.
