Balciana is a white wine made from slightly overripe Verdicchio grapes. It owes its name to the Contrada Balciana where the vineyards stand on northeast-facing land at an altitude of 350 meters. There are more than thirty clones of Verdicchio in the vineyards, which allows for great biodiversity and complexity in the wine.
Straw yellow with golden highlights. Flowers, beeswax, hay, fruit. Structured, enveloping, warm, persistent.
