Magliocco grows mainly in the area of Bivongi, near Reggio Calabria, and is also known as Magliocco Dolce. It has a compact, cone-shaped cluster of medium size, which is harvested late and in the right climate to ensure a more delicate tannin and greater sweetness in the berries.

Late harvest

Fermentation in steel at controlled temperature. Aging in steel for 24 months followed by another 24-36 months (depending on vintage) in French oak barrels and finally 12 months minimum in bottle.
