Marsigliana Nera is a typical grape variety of Calabria grown mainly on the western side of the region. It grows on nutrient-poor soils, is very resistant to disease but not very vigorous, and has a medium-sized, cylindrical, sparse and irregular cluster with medium to large round berries.
